Insurance ​

I accept Duke University Student Insurance. Copay for students using this plan is $10. 

I am out-of-network with all other insurance networks. As other insurance providers are not accepted, I can offer a monthly Superbill to be submitted for reimbursement to your insurance company upon request if you choose to utilize the private pay option for therapy services.

Please, check directly with your insurance company before coming as utilizing a monthly session statement is dependent on a client's individual insurance plan. It would be the client's responsibility to submit out-of-network reimbursements.

Understanding Your Benefits

 

Some insurance companies can reimburse the client a portion of each session using a monthly statement (or Superbill) provided by the therapist. Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance company to determine your coverage and out-of-network benefits using a Superbill:​

  • What are my out-of-network benefits for mental health services? 

  • Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, how much is it and what have I contributed to it so far?

  • What are the reimbursement rates for out-of-network services?

  • Is there a maximum number of sessions for the year?

  • How do I submit a claim for reimbursement?
